A Fragile Existence is a powerful documentary that sheds light on the lived experiences of individuals with albinism in Zimbabwe. It explores the intersection of climate change, discrimination, social exclusion, and the severe gaps in healthcare that threaten their well-being and dignity.
01. Concept & Pre-production
The documentary was conceptualized to amplify the voices of a marginalized community often overlooked in public discourse. By highlighting real stories and challenges, the film aims to inspire urgent action toward inclusive healthcare, social equity, and climate resilience policies.
02. Production
Filming took place across various locations to capture the everyday struggles and resilience of people with albinism. Many must travel long distances to access basic health services, endure stigma, and confront severe health risks exacerbated by climate change. The visual storytelling immerses viewers in their reality, providing an intimate and authentic portrayal.

03. Post-production & Results
